Ease of Use

The PowerShot V10 is unashamedly a camera that has been designed to record high-quality video, and more specifically videos that include you. Whilst you can shoot 20 megapixel stills with the V10, there are very few menu options available, no Raw support and the small 2-inch LCD panel makes composition more difficult than an camera with a larger screen. The shooting mode for stills is equivalent to the camera-sets-everything Scene Intelligent Auto mode on other Canon models, with Canon themselves billing it as a great way to take thumbnail images for your movies.
